Set amid a traditional Southern landscape, FCC offers a par 72 18-hole golf course meandering through more than 6,600 yards of towering pine trees. The FCC golf course was begun in 1924 with 64 acres of land and a 3-hole golf course. It was promptly enlarged to 9 holes. In 1963, an additional 9 holes designed by golf architect George Curtis was added. From there, the course evolved into our present day 18-hole championship course.
Members may access the driving range and practice putting green before testing their accuracy with our fairways, water hazards, and sand traps. Our rolling terrain has everything you need to challenge you and improve your game. Members may also take advantage of our tournament programs as well as Men’s and Women’s Golf Associations.
Both golf associations were founded with the intent of forming lasting organizations dedicated to promoting the game of golf. The Men’s Golf Association has evolved over the last few years and has grown to over 40 members with handicaps that range from novice to high plus. The MGA is open to golfers of all abilities and promotes events designed to make all golfers feel welcome.
The ladies are also golfing at FCC. All ladies are invited to join, form a group, and participate in the fun regardless of skill level. In addition to regular play, the LGA promotes our club with special events throughout the season which include our annual Lad and Lassie tournament. Ladies golf days are fun days and are a great opportunity to play, see old acquaintances, and make new ones.
All in all, the course is an enjoyable, challenging course for golfers of all skill levels. Our goal is to provide you with a quality experience that includes exceptional service and a comfortable atmosphere. Come join us at FCC.
